“Your Artistic Routine”
While doing some research this week, I came across a fantastic read from the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). AIGA is the Professional Association for Design. This article “5 Reasons Your 9-to-5 Routine Is Killing Your Creativity” brought to the surface the stigmas surrounding working your daily job and trying to stay artistically abreast.
The biggest takeaway I found to be the most helpful was the practice of creating a routine. Creating a routine is an incredibly efficient way to maximize your creativity. YES–the term “routine” brings forth the anxiety of repetitiveness. In the general sense, there are many similarities; however, effectively developing a Mind+Body day-to-day check-in. For example, taking time to be alone and prepping for your mental journey.
Take time to plan out a schedule for yourself that equally distributes energy for your work hours and artistic practices.

Keep Calm and Create On
How does one describe passion? Is it purely just a “desire”? Is it only something identified as a “want”? What is passion to you? And more importantly, what is your passion? Usually as individuals, people expect us to have clear clean cut answer to that, but honestly we are filled too much with multiple thoughts and urges for creativity to just simplify them down into one central trait. So don’t do it. Allow yourself to be engrossed in the many things that inspire you.

Reflection 2015: Goals for 2016 and Beyond
Let me start by saying that I am so grateful for each and everyone of you who take the time to read and comment on Keep Calm and Create On. This is only the beginning for us! HAPPY NEW YEARS!!
As I continue on my journey as an Actress, Author, and Blogger, I wanted to reflect on the adversities I have overcome and acknowledge the joy that is before me. Mark this: We made it! Although it felt like we were going to buck down and crumble, at times, we are now here standing at the cusp of something amazing: a new adventure and journey. But our journeys are not start now at the end of a year, it has been in the works thru the entirety of 2015.
